My Opinion...
Looking at the marketing trend of bodyvertising, I don’t see it going away anytime soon. In fact, businesses are finding more and more ways to utilize and create different types of bodyvertising. From parasitic, advertasting, to nailvertising, businesses are finding more and more unique ways to spark interest.
I think that there are many advantages to bodyvertising. It creates a way for businesses to stand out and provide individuals a chance to earn some money. Business can literally purchase a “walking billboard.” With tattoos becoming more and more acceptable and popular, many people will be willing to sell part of their body for an ad. However, I do think that we will begin to start to see more unique and nonpermanent bodyvertising ads.
Personally, I would never sell a part of my body for an ad, but I would participate in other forms, like handvertising. I learned a lot from this trend and how crazy some of the practices are. Finally, I think more and more businesses are going to start utilizing bodyvertising in some way.
